Dreamstuff is a company founded by a mother of five children and is based on the idea of ​​producing personalized printed and laser-cut products for home decor, everyday life and celebrations for families with children, and as a fun support for children's learning. Our educational interior posters include world map posters , number posters , and alphabet posters .

From us you can get lovely posters for the children's room with different themes. All our products are made with motherly love, respecting children's opinions and wishes for everyday life and celebrations. Every child and home is different and therefore most of our products are customizable, i.e. personalized. So if you want, you can order personalized posters with your child's information, such as letter posters and name posters .

In addition, our selection includes baptism invitations / naming invitations and godparent certificates , milestone baby cards (milestone card series), lovely custom-made children's clothing and soon also children's birthday invitations in both electronic and printed versions . We also have a photo poster and an annual calendar for your own photos.

Our most popular products are personalized posters, such as the ever-popular birth poster, which is 1:1 in proportion to the child's birth length. These and other personalized posters are also great as gifts for name days, christenings, or birthdays.

Company story

Dreamstuff started as a birth poster I drew for my own children. Once I finished the image and posted my own version on social media, my phone was immediately flooded with messages and inquiries about the product. This is how I started my own company, taking small, careful steps to become stronger in my own mind.

Our twins, Isla and Mila, were born in early spring 2019 as tiny premature babies weighing less than 1.5 kilograms at 30+4 weeks of gestation. Through this incredible and multi-stage multiple pregnancy and birth, I got to know a wonderful and close-knit group of other parents of twins, who were the test audience for my first birth poster. Since twins are often born prematurely, I received a lot of inquiries about a birth poster aimed at premature babies. This is how my own birth poster aimed at premature babies was born, which has spawned a collaboration with the association for premature babies, Kevy.

A birth poster is a wonderful way to immortalize the moment our children were born and make it a beautiful part of our home decor. The inspiration for all my products is motherhood and my love for children, as well as my passion for decorating. By listening to children's wishes and empathizing with their imagination, new ideas are constantly emerging that I want to share with my customers.

I love pictures and spend a lot of time exploring the work of artists from different countries. Although a large part of my products are drawn by me, I also use illustrations in some of my own production. When I find an image that speaks to me and fits into my own product family, I buy a license for the image and use it in the design as part of a whole for which I create the basis myself. The sales of these products are limited and they will be removed from the selection after a certain period of time. With the help of illustrations, I bring versatility to the offering alongside my own production and my own permanent images. For this reason, not all of my images have the Design from Finland label.

Visuality and different types of art such as drawing are an important part of my life and my work. Since I was a child, I have loved drawing and creating collages, “books” and comics of all kinds. Later, I became interested in photography and art more broadly. I am a graphic designer by profession and soon also a visualist. In my work, I have been able to design corporate identities, advertisements, magazine layouts as well as the appearance of private parties and invitations to printed products. I first became acquainted with image processing programs in the late 90s and they have been part of my creative work ever since. In addition to design, I have worked in the printing industry since 1995. While working in the industry, I learned a lot about printing processes, products, techniques and materials, which has also helped me as an entrepreneur to choose a printing company that suits my values. For me, choosing a printing house is not only a condition for my own business, but also an important part of my own values, where domestic guaranteed quality, ethics, ecology and reliability of service are important parts of what kind of product my customer gets in return for their money.

Dreamstuff got its name from the idea of ​​creating personalized / individual printed products also outside of traditional printing production. This idea is and always lives in my goals, even though bringing special printed products to the consumer is very expensive and still requires refinement. Despite this, new printed products produced using traditional methods are constantly being created.
